Medico-legal services

A psychological medico-legal assessment is conducted in order to provide a psychological report that could be used in court, for example in order to obtain compensation for psychological damage caused by a traumatic event. The psychological assessment may be required to provide a diagnosis, establish a link between the trauma and physical injuries and the client’s psychological condition, and provide a prognosis in relation to recovery, including any recommendation of treatment.

I specialise in providing assessments on anxiety-related disorders, including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and acute stress disorder, panic attacks, and phobias; depression; adjustment disorders, and chronic pain.

Between 90% and 95% of clients that have been referred to me for a medico-legal assessment have suffered from PTSD, depression and chronic pain.
